McCall #17S-18S – XDURA® – DuraLite® Round
The shank curvature adapts easily to 2nd and 3rd molars. The straight-sided universal blade has a rounded toe and is 1 mm wide. McCall curettes have universal blades that have sharp cutting edges on both sides of the blade. Featuring our DuraLite Round Handle, additional handle options are shown below.

Description
- Our most comfortable handle, DuraLite Round has a large 3/8″ (9.5 mm) diameter and is extremely lightweight for maximum tactile sensitivity. Featuring our exclusive Control Ring grip provides the ultimate in grip and control. This combination requires less finger, resulting in less hand and fatigue. The handle has a gentle texture to reduce glare and is 100% stainless steel to make it easy to clean and sterilize by any method.
- XDURA® tips are made from our proprietary stainless-steel formulation, which provides sharper edges that require less sharpening.
